BASE DESCRIPTION

Hey everyone, Dark BarBarian here! Welcome back to the post where we build the ultimate Clash of Clans bases, Today, I’ve got an amazing Town Hall 9 hybrid base design that’s going to take your defense game to the next level, We’ll break down all the key features and explain why each building is placed where it is, Make sure to stick around for the base analysis to understand your defenses.

Now, let’s dive into the Base Analysis!

First up, let’s focus on the Town Hall, We’ve strategically placed it in the heart of the base to ensure maximum protection, This central location is vital because the Town Hall is not only worth a valuable star but also contains a hefty amount of loot, Securing it in the middle makes it a tough target for attackers, safeguarding your resources and making it harder for them to score easy points.

Moving on to the compartments, one of the standout features of this base is the abundance of these sections, By spreading compartments throughout the base, we create multiple layers of defense that slow down enemy troops significantly, This design forces attackers to break through several walls, which can be a real time-killer and troop-drainer, especially for units like giants and golems, The strategic layout of these compartments ensures that enemy forces get tangled up, making it difficult for them to penetrate deep into the base.

And when it comes to defenses, they’re strategically positioned to cover the entire base, making it a fortress from every direction.

Now let’s discuss the mortar placement, We’ve strategically positioned the mortars in the outer compartments of the base, This setup is designed to counter spam attacks like BARCH and mass goblins effectively. The mortars cover almost the entire base, except for the core, which doesn’t need their coverage since low-hitpoint troops rarely make it that far, By placing the mortars this way, we ensure they can maximize their splash damage and protect against swarms of enemy troops.

let’s examine the wizard tower placements, These towers are our primary splash damage defense against both ground and air troops at Town Hall 9, We’ve strategically positioned them in separate compartments to prevent all of them from being taken out simultaneously by lightning spells, This separation not only enhances their survivability but also ensures comprehensive splash damage coverage, By carefully placing them, we’ve created a defense network that protects the core’s key defenses while also safeguarding the outer perimeter against enemy attacks.

Archer towers are strategically positioned to cover the entire base, ensuring solid protection against air attacks from all directions.

Next up are the air defenses, We’ve placed them in separate compartments to prevent them from being taken out by a single lightning spell strike, air defenses cover large portion of the base, and these air defenses are paired with air sweepers to create a formidable barrier against aerial assaults, This setup is particularly effective against powerful air attacks like lava loons and mass dragons, ensuring that our base remains resilient and well-protected from above.

Let’s focus on the bomb towers and the Barbarian King. The bomb towers are strategically positioned to defend against ground-based attacks, Their splash damage is crucial for taking out groups of hogs, We’ve also placed the Barbarian King near the core to bolster the defense against these incoming hog armies, This setup ensures a strong defensive line that disrupts and neutralizes hog rider strategies particularly approaching from the 7 o’clock direction, keeping our base secure from this attack vector.

Cannons are placed in the remaining spaces across the whole base, provide a great balance to the base, helping it defend effectively against armies that come in for ground attacks.

Now, coming to the storages, they are placed in different compartments, unlike the bases you usually see where most of the storages are placed in a single compartment. each storage is placed in a different compartment that means the opponent has to take out the whole base in order to get all the loot.

We’ve also placed the storages alternatively, so that even if the opponent takes out this portion of the base, we don’t lose all the storages of the same kind of resources, for example, if we put all the gold storages on this side of the base, the attacker can take almost all your gold just by taking out this portion of the base. and if we are losing the loot, it’s better to lose it in a balanced way rather than losing all the loot of one kind of resource, so to avoid that, we place them alternatively, just like our base.

The dark elixir storage is well protected in the compartment in the core of the base, so it’s quite well protected.

Now coming to the placement of the traps, after observation of so many attacks on this base, spring traps and giant bombs are strategically placed according to the pathing of defense attacking troops like hogs and giants, which helps in making this base stronger against ground attacks

Seeking air mines and air bombs are placed to help the air defences in taking out air troops such as balloons, dragons, baby dragons, and lava hounds.

we have placed those bombs out there so that they can take out the wall breakers, which can potentially ruin attackers funnel as the troops wouldn’t be able to go inside the base and they’ll end up going for the outer trash buildings which will end up ruining the attack.

Now coming to the outer buildings you can customize where you want to put them according to your choice, if you are quite active and play regularly you can spread them out more to make the funnel trickier as you wouldn’t have to worry about people stealing your loot from outer collectors, as you’ll be collecting loot from them regularly, but if you are not that active you can do it the way I made it, as you won’t have to worry about stealing your loot as they’ll be in the range of defenses, it’s up to you, just make sure you don’t put the same type of collectors all together, otherwise, the opponent will take all your loot in the collectors very easily

BEST DEFENSIVE CLAN CASTLE TROOPS COMBINATIONS

Using clan castle troops for defending your base is highly recommended as they can put the attacker in trouble by distracting them. Even though the base alone is sufficient to stop most of the attacks used by Town Hall 9 attackers, using the clan castle can help a lot. At Town Hall 9 you can get Maximum of 30 housing space in your clan castle, here are some of my recommendations for CC troops combinations for defense at Town Hall 9 :-

1. 1 Electro Dragon(Recommended)
2. 1 Baby Dragon + 2 Valkyrie + 1 Wizard
3. 1 Golem
4. 1 Witch + 4 Wizards + 2 Archers
5. 1 Lava Hound
6. 1 Dragon + 2 Wizard + 2 Archer

Since most people can’t get these troops from their clans, you can also use other troop combinations which are easily available like all wizards, all balloons or any other troop combination but i highly recommend you to have above mentioned troops for best defensive experience at Town Hall 9.
